A briefed introduction
The book of the (Mongol Accounts) is a historical book written by Abu Al-Thana' Qutb Ad-Din Mahmoud ben Massaud son of the reformer Esh-Shirazi, who passed away in (710 AH – 1310). He was encyclopedic scholar and one of the students of Khawajah Nasir Ad-Din al-Tusi (may Allah mercy him). – It highlights one of the historical era of the Mongol empire and consists of the accounts of the ruling family and princes and what they did in their invasion of the Muslim countries, which portrays to us some of the fine details that may be novel – And about Mongol invasion of Baghdad and its fall at the hands of Hulagu and some events synchronized the invasion, then the end of Hulagu and the struggle for power in the Mongol empire after him. The book also presents us the reality of Mongols' rule and their maintained policy, some laws as well as their Behaviorisms or other beliefs in the state administration and in wars.
