42THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE REVELATION OF DIVINEBOOKS

WE BELIEVE that, for the guidance of man, Godsent down several DIVINE BOOK, among which we may name: The SOHOF, given to NOAH; the LAW, given to Moses; the GOSPEL given to JESUS, and the Holy QURN given to Mohammad.

Were these books not sent, human would havebeen led astray, falling afar off from the natural pathof piety, ethics, and straight path of truth.

Such divine Books, like the clouds of mercy, haverained upon the plane of the hearts, making to fruitfulthe seeds of knowledge, wisdom and virtues.

" The APOSTLE( MOHAMMAD )believes in that whichis revealed to him from his LORD, and so do man of

faith they all believe in ALLAH, His angels, His books, and in all His apostles.

They say:" We make no distinction between any of theprophets." They also say:" We hear the prophets andwe obey." Our LORD! we BEG Your forgiveness thatto you ends all the road."

THE HOLY QURN S 2: 582

Unfortunately through long elapse of time, many ofthe scriptures have been tampered with, and altered to some extent, by the interference of some ignorant and unauthorized people, resulting in the replacement of some wrong thoughts and immoral ideas. Among these an exception is the Glorious Qurn, which has remained unaltered and exactly is the same as it was; and It has always been shining like the bright sun, throughout the ages and the nations, alighting the hearts.

52QURN ,IS THE GREATEST OF THE MIRACLES OF OURPROPHET

WE BELIEVE that QURN is the greatest andthe most important one, among the many miracles of Islam's prophet: Not only for its eloquency, fluency, vividness and expressiveness, but rather for other important aspects and wide dimentions of the book, about which broad descriptions have been given by the experts and commentaors in their books.

WE BELIEVE that no one can ever bring a booklike the Holy QURN, even not a chapter comparableto it! This is because, the Holy QURN frequentlyasks the doubtful to do it if they can, and all who haveendeavoured have failed!

" Say:" If the whole of mankind and JINNS gathertogether to make out a book like this QURN, they cannot do it even if they back up each other with help and support."

THE HOLY QURN S 71: 88

" If you are in doubt of what we have revealed to ourservant( Mohammad ), then produce only one chapter

comparable to this book; and call your witnesses orhelpers to help you, if there are any besides Allah to assist you; if what you say be ture. But if you fail to do so, and certainly you will fail, then fear the FIRE whose fuel is man and STONES prepared for the unbelievers

THE HOLY QURN S 2: 32 42

WE BELIEVE that age will not make the HolyQURN old and out of date; but rather its miraculous points and views shall appear more and more clearly, and its greatness shall become more evident to theworld.

We have a tradition narrated by Emam JaafarSadiq that:" God has not made QURAN to answer acertain age or distinct group of people. It shall alwaysremain fresh, New, and lively."

62QURN IS NOT ALTERED AT ALL

WE BELIEVE that this book,( QURN )whichis now at the hands of the Moslims, is the exact and

unaltered copy of that which was revealed to ourprophet MOhammad nothing less and nothing more.

A group of trustworthy scribes chosen by theprophet himself took note of the revelations from thevery beginning up to the end, and Moslims had it aduty of must, to read and recite the verses by day andnight. A large group of Moslims committed the bookto memory and a group of them had it on the scrolls.

Those who had the book in their memory and thosewho could recite it for the others, had always had avery respectful position among the believer. Suchcustoms and else, prevented the least amount ofchanges or any alteration to take place in the book.

Besides that, God Himself has promised andguaranteed to look after His book and keep it safe andsecure until the end.:--

" We have without doubt, sent down the QURAN, andWe will assuredly guard it."

THE HOLY QURN S 51 9

All the learned, and researcher fo Islam, whetherSHIITE or SONNI, agree that the least alteration has
