أَاَدْخُلُ يا فاطِمَةُ سَيِّدَة َ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ
AADKHOLO YA FATIMATA SAYEDATA NESAEL 'ALAMINA
May I enter O chief of the women of all worlds?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا مَوْلايَ يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ
AADKHOLO YA MAWLAYA YA ABA ABDELLAHI
May I enter O my Master O Abaa Abdullah?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا مَوْلايَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ الله
AADKHOLO YA MAWLAYA YABNA RASOLEL LAH
May I enter O my Master O Son of Messenger of Allah?
If your heart becomes pained and tears flow from your eyes, it means that you have been given permission to enter. So go inside and say:
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الْواحِدِ الاَْحَدِ الْفَرْدِ الصَّمَدِ
ALHAMDO LELAHI ALWAHIDO AL-AHADO AL-FARDO- AL-SAMADO
Praise to Allah who is One, Unique, Solo, Eternal Refuge
الَّذي هَداني لِوِلايَتِكَ،
ALLAZI HADANI LE WELAYATEKA
one who guided me towards Your imamate
وَخَصَّني بِزِيارَتِكَ، وَسَهَّلَ لي قَصْدَكَ
WAS KHASANI BE ZEYARATEKA WAS SAHALlA LEYA QASDAKA
and chose me to perform Your ziarat and made my way to You easy.
Then go to the doorway of Bab Al-Qiblah, stop opposite to the head side of the grave, and say:
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ آدَمَ صِفْوةِ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'ALAIKA yaa WARITHA Aadam-a-sAfwatillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Adam, the chosen one of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ نوُحٍ نَبيِّ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'ALAIKA yaa WARITHA Noohin nabiyillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Nuh, the Prophet of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ إبراهيمَ خَليلِ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'ALAIKA yaa waritha Ibrahima-khaleelillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Ibrahim, the friend of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ موسى كَليِمِ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'alaika yaa WARITHA Moosa kaleemillah
Peace be upon you. O inheritor of Musa, the one who talked to Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ عيسى رُوْح ِ الله
As-salaamo 'alaika yaa WARITHA 'EesA roohillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of 'Isa, the spirit of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ مُحَمّدٍ حَبيبِ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'alaika yaa WARITHA Mohammadin Habeebillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Muhammed, the beloved friend of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وارِثَ اَميـرِ المُؤمِنينَ وَلَيِّ اللهِ
As-salaamo 'alaika yaa WARITHA Ameeril Momeneen-a-waleeyillah
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Ali, the commander of the faithful and the friend of Allah
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابنَ مُحَمّدٍ المُصطَفى
As-salaamo 'alaika yabna Mohammade-nil Mustafa
Peace be upon you, O son of the Muhammad Al-Mustafaa
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابنَ عليٍّ المرتضى
Asalamo 'alaika yabna Ali-ye-nil Murtuza
Peace be upon you, O son of Ali Al-Murtazaa
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابنَ فاطمةَ الزهراءِ
As-salaamo 'alaika yabna Fat-e-mat-uz Zahra
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatema Al-Zahraa,
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابنَ خَديجَةَ الكُبرى
As-salaamo 'alaika yabna KhaDija-tal-Kubra
Peace be upon you, O son of Khadijatal- kubra
السَّلام عَلَيْكَ يا ثارَ اللهِ وابنَ ثارِهِ والوِترَ المَوتوُرَ
As-salaamo 'alaika yaa tharal-laahe wabna tharehi wal witral maWtoor
Peace be upon you, O the avenge of Allah and the son His avenge, and the victim who lost everyone
اَشهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَد اَقَمتَ الصَّلاة َ وَآتَيتَ الزَّكاة َ
Ash-hado annaka qad aqamtas salata wa aataitaz zakat
I bear witness that verily you established the prayers And gave the zakat (prescribed share) to the needy
وأمرتَ باُلمِعروف ِوَنَهَيتَ عَنِ المُنكرِ
wa amarta bil ma'rufi wa nahaita 'anil munkari
And commanded to do what is right and lawful And not to do that which is wrong and unlawful
وَاَطَعتَ اللهَ وَرَسولَهُ حَتّى اَتاكَ اليَقينُ
Wa ata' tal-laaha wa Rasoolahoo hatta atakal yaqeen
And obeyed Allah and His Messenger until the inevitable came unto you
فَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَةً قَتَلَتكَ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَةً ظَلَمَتكَ
Fa-la'nal-laho ummatan qatalatka, Wa-la'nal-laho ummatan zalamatka
So, Allah curse those who killed you And Allah curse those who oppressed you
وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَةً سَمِعت بِذلك فَرَضِيَت به
Wa la'nal-laaho ummatan same'at be Tha-leka fara-zeyat behi
And Allah curse those who heard the event and rested satisfied
يا مَولاي يا ابا عَبدِ اللهِ
Ya maulaya ya Aba 'Abdillah
O My Master, O Abu 'Abdullah!
اَشهَدُ اَنّكَ كُنتَ نوُراً في الأصلابِ الشّامِخَةِ وَالأرحام ِ المُطَهَرَةِ
Ash-hado annaka kunta nooran fil ashlaabish shaam-e khah wal ar-haamil motah'harah
I bear witness that verily you were a light in the sublime loins and purified wombs
لم تُنَجِسْكَ الجاهِليَّةُ باَنِجاسِها
lam tonaj-jiskal jaaheliyato be-anja-sehaa
The impurities of ignorance did not even touch you
وَلَم تُلبِسكَ مِن مُدلَهِمّاتِ ثِيابِها
wa-lam tulbiska min mud-lahem-maate theya-beha
Nor could its soiled and dirty bearing ever smear you
وَاَشهَدُ أنَكَ مِن دَعائِم الدّين وَاَركانِ المُؤمِنينَ
Wa ash-hado an-naka min da'a-e-mid-deen wa ar-kaanil momeneen
I bear witness that, verily, you are the mainstay of the religion, and the supporter of the faithful ones
وَاَشهَدُ اَنّكَ الإمامُ البَّرُ التَّقيُ الرَّضيُ الزَّكيُّ الهادِي المَهدِيُ
Wa ash hado an-nakal Imaamul bar-rut-taqi-yur-razi-yul-zaki-yul haadi-yul MahdyO
I bear witness that, verily, you are a pious, God-fearing, favorite, wise And rightly guided (Imam)
وَاَشهَدُ اَنَّ الأَئمّةَ مِن وُلْدِكَ كَلِمةُ التَّقوى
Wa ash-hado an-nal aim-matA min wuldeka kalematut taqwa
I bear witness that the Imams, in your progeny, are the words of piety
وَاَعلامُ الهُدى وَالعُروةُ الوُثقى وَالحُجَّةُ عَلى اَهلِ الدُنيا
wa a'laamul hoda wal 'urwatul wusqaa wal-hujjato 'alaa ahlid-duniyaa
And the signs of guidance And the safe handle of Islam, And the decisive argument for the humankind.
وَاُشهِدُ اللهَ وَملائكَتَهُ وَاَنبِياءَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ
wa ush hedul-laha wa mala-e-katahoo wa anbeyA-a-hoo wa rosolAhO
I call Allah to give witness, and also His Angels And His Prophets and His Messenger
