اللهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ جَمِيعاً.
ALLAHUMMAL-'ANHUM JAMEE-'AN
O' Allah, curse all of them!
Say 100 times:
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ
ASSALAAMO 'ALAYKA YAA ABAA 'ABDILLAAH
Peace be upon you O' Aba 'Abdillah
وَعَلى الأَرْوَاح ِالَّتِي حَلَّتْ بِفِنَآئِكَ،
WA 'ALAL ARWAAHILLATEE HALLAT BEFENAA-EKA
and upon the souls which were annihilated with you
عَلَيْكَ مِنِّي سَلاَمُ اللهِ أَبَداً مَا بَقِيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ،
'ALAYKA MINNE SALAAMULLAHY ABADAN MA BAQEETO WA BAQEYAL LAYLO WAN NAHAARO
Upon you, from me, is the peace of Allah for eternity, as long as the night and the day remain
وَلاَ جَعَلَهُ اللهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّي لِزِيَارَتِكُمْ،
WA LAA JA-'ALAHULLAAHO AAKHERAL 'AHDE MINNEE LE-ZEYAARATEKUM
and may Allah do not make this (Ziyarat) as my last visit to you.
السَّلامُ عَلى الْحُسَيْنِ،
ASSALAAMO 'ALAL HUSSAINE
Greetings be upon Hussain
وَعَلى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ،
WA 'ALAA 'ALIYYIBNIL HUSSAINE
and upon 'Ali the son of Hussain
وَعَلى أَوْلاَدِ الْحُسَيْنِ،
WA 'ALAA AWLAADIL HUSSAINE
and upon the children of Hussain
وَعَلى أَصْحَابِ الْحُسَيْنِ.
WA 'ALAA ASHAABIL HUSSAINE
and upon the companions of Hussain.
Then say once:
اللهُمَّ خُصَّ أَنْتَ أَوَّلَ ظالِمٍ بِاللَّعْنِ مِنِّي،
ALLAAHUMMA KHUSSA ANTA AWWALA ZAALEMIN BIL-LA'NE MINNEE
O' Allah! Particularly curse the first tyrant, a curse from me,
وَابْدَأ ْبِهِ أَوَّلاً، ثُمَّ الْعَنِ الثَّانِيَ
WABDAA BEHEE AWWALAN SUMMAs SAANEYA
and begin the first curse with him and then send the curse on the second
وَالثَّالِثَ وَالرَّابِعَ. اللهُمَّ الْعَنْ يَزِيدَ خَامِساً،
WAS SAALESA WAR RAABE-'A ALLAAHUMMAL-'AN YAZEEDA KHAAMESAN
and the third and then the forth (tyrant). O' Allah curse Yazid, the fifth (tyrant)
وَالْعَنْ عُبَيْدَ الله ِبْنَ زِيادٍ وَابْنَ مَرْجَانَةَ وَعُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ وَشِمْراً
WAL-'AN 'OBAYDALLAAHIBNA ZEYAADIN WABNA MARJAANAH WA 'OMARABNA SA'ADIN WA SHIMRAN
and curse 'Ubaydullah b. Ziyad and Ibne Marjanah and '‘Umar b. Sa'd and Shimr
وَآلَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَآلَ زِيَادٍ وَآلَ مَرْوَانَ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.
WA AALA ABEE SUFYAANA WA AALA ZEYAADIN WA AALA MARWAANA ELAA YAWMIL QEYAAMATE
and the family of Sufyan and the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan until the day of Judgement.
Go in Sajdah (prostration) and recite:
اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدَ الشَّاكِرِينَ لَكَ عَلى مُصَابِهِمْ.
ALLAAHUMMA LAKAL HAMDO HAMDASH SHAAKEREENA LAKA 'ALAA MOSAABEHIM
O' Allah! To you belongs the praise, the praise of those who are thankful to You for their tribulations.
أَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلى عَظِيمِ رَزِيَّتِي.
ALHAMDO LILLAAHE 'ALAA 'AZEEME RAZIYYATEE
All Praise belongs to Allah for my intense grief.
اللهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي شَفَاعَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْوُرُودِ،
ALLAAHUMMAR-ZUQNEE SHAFA-'ATAL HUSSAINE YAWMAL WOROODE
O' Allah, grant me the blessing of intercession of Hussain on the Day of Appearance (before You)
وَ ثَبِّتْ لِي قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَكَ مَعَ الْحُسَيْنِ وَأَصْحَابِ الْحُسَيْنِ
WA SABBIT LEE QADAMA SIDQIN 'INDAKA MA'AL HUSSAINE WA AS-HAABIL HUSSAINI
and strengthen me with a truthful stand in Your presence along with Hussain and the companions of Hussain –
الَّذِينَ بَذَلُوا مُهَجَهُمْ دُونَ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ.
ALLAZEENA BAthALOO MOHAJAHUM DOONAL HUSSAINE 'ALAYHIS SALAAMO
those people who sacrificed everything for Hussain, peace be upon him.
Ziyarat Al-Arba'ein
اَلسَّلامُ عَلى وَلِيِّ اللهِ وَحَبيبِهِ،
ASSALAAMO 'ALAA WALIYYILLAAHE WA HABEEBEHI..
Peace be upon the intimate servant of Allah and His most-beloved.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلى خَليلِ اللهِ و نجيبهِ
ASSALAAMO 'ALAA KHALEELILLAAHE WA NAJEEBEHI
Peace be upon the friend of Allah and His elite.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلى صَفِيِّ اللهِ وَابْنِ صَفِيِّهِ،
ASSALAAMO 'ALAA SAFIYYILLAAHE WABNA SAFIYYEHI
Peace be upon the choice of Allah and son of His choice.
السلامُ على الحسينِ المظلوم ِالشّهيدِ
ASSALAAMO 'ALAL HUSYANIL MAZLOOMISH SHAHEEDE
Peace be upon al-Hussain the wronged and martyred.
اَلسَّلامُ على اَسيرِ الْكُرُباتِ وَقَتيلِ الْعَبَراتِ،
ASAAALAAMO 'ALAA ASEERIL KOROBAATE WA QATEELIL 'ABARAATE
Peace be upon the captive of agonies and victim of the shed tears.
اَللّهُمَّ اِنّي اَشْهَدُ اَنَّهُ وَلِيُّكَ وَابْنُ وَلِيِّكَ
ALLAAHUMMAA INNEE ASH-HADO ANNAHU WALIYYOKA WABNO WALIYYEKA
O Allah, I do bear witness that he is verily Your intimate servant and son of Your intimate servant,
وَصَفِيُّكَ وَابْنُ صَفِيِّكَ
WA SAFIYYOKA WABNO SAFIYYEKa
Your choice and son of Your choice,
الْفائِزُ بِكَرامَتِكَ
ALFAAA-EZO BE-KARAAMATEKA
and the winner of Your honoring.
اَكْرَمْتَهُ بالشهادةِ
AKRAMTAHU BISH SHAHAADATE
You have honored him with martyrdom,
وَحَبَوْتَهُ بِالسَّعادَةِ،
WA HABAWTAHU BIS SA-A'DATE
endued him with happiness,
وَاَجْتَبَيْتَهُ بِطيبِ الْوِلادَةِ
WAJ-TABAYTAHU BE-TEEBIL WELAADATE
privileged him with legitimate birth,
وَجَعَلْتَهُ سَيِّداً مِنَ السادَةِ وَقائِداً مِنَ الْقادَةِ،
WA JA-'ALTAHU SAYYEDAN MENAS SAADATE WA QAAA-EDAN MENAL QAADATE
made him one of the chiefs, one of the leaders,
