Ziyarat Warith
(The Inheritor)
When you get the gateway of the shrine stop and say:
اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ كَبيراً، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِِ كَثيراً، وَسُبْحانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَاَصيلاً،
ALLAAHO AKBARO KABEERAN WALHAMDO LILLAAHE KASEERAN WA SUBHAANALLAHE BUKRATAN WA ASEELAN
Allah is the greatest and all praise be unto Him and glory and praise be unto Him morning and evening
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي هَدانا لِهذا وَماكُنّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْ لا اَنْ هَدانَا اللهُ، لَقَدْ جاءَ تْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنا بِالْحَقِّ.
ALHAMDULILLAH ALAZY HADANA LIHAZA WA MA KUNNA-LIN HATADIYA LAWLA AN HADANA LLAHU LAQAD JA-AT ROSOLO RABBINA BILHAQ.
Praise be to Allah, the One Who guided us to this affair and certainly we would have not been guided, had Allah not guided us. Surely, the Messengers of our Lord have brought Haq (Righteousness).
Then say:
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا رَسُولَ اللهِ،
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA RASOLAL LLAHI
Peace be upon You O Messenger of Allah (SAWA)
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا نَبِيَّ اللهِ،
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA NABIA LLAHI
Peace be upon You O Prophet of Allah
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا خاتَمَ النَّبِيّينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA KHATAMAN NABI-YEN
Peace be upon You O Seal of all Prophets
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا سَيِّدَ الْمُرْسَلينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA SAYEDAL MORASLYN
Peace be upon You O Master of the Messengers
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا حَبيبَ اللهِ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA HABIBAL LLAHI
Peace be upon You O Beloved of Allah
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا اَميرَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA AMIRAL MO'MININA
Peace be upon You O Commander of the Faithful
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا سَيِّدَ الْوَصِيّينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA SAYEDAL WASEYENA
Peace be upon You O Master of Successors
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا قائِدَ الْغُرِّ الُْمحَجَّلينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA QAEDAL GHOREL MOHAJALINA
Peace be upon You O Leader of the people with bright shining foreheads
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YABNA FATIMATA SAYEDATA NESA-EL-'ALAMINA
Peace be upon You O Son of Fatima (AS) mistress of the women of all worlds
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الاَْئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA WA 'ALA ALYEMATA MEN WOLDEKA
Peace be upon the Imams (AS) from Your Offspring
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا وَصِيَّ اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA WASEYA AMEEREL MO'MENINA
Peace be upon You O Successor of Commander of The Faithful (AS)
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الصِّديقُ الشَّهيدُ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA AYOHAL SEDDIQOL SHAHEEDO
Peace be upon O Trustworthy and Martyred
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَم يا مَلائِكَةَ اللهِ المُقيمينَ فِي هذَا المَقامِ الشَّريفِ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKOM YA MALAEKATAl LLAHI ALMOQIMENA FE HAZAL MAQAMEL SHAREEFI
Peace be upon You O angels of Allah who live on this sacred place
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يا مَلائِكَةَ رَبِّي الُْمحْدِقينَ بِقَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ عليهِ السّلامُ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKOM YA MALAEKTA RABI ALMOHDEQEENA BEQABREL HUSSAIN ALAIHEEL SALAM
Peace be upon You O Angels of Allah who surround the grave of Imam Hussain (AS)
اَلسَّلام عَلَيْكُمْ مِنّي اَبَداً ما بَقيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهارُ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKOM MENNY ABADAN MA BAQEETO WA BAQEYAL LAILO WANNAHAR
peace be upon you and I send my greetings (salam) upon this Imam (AS) and on you for as long as nights and days last (for eternity)
After that say:
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YA ABA ABDILLAHI
Peace be upon You O Abaa Abdullah
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ الله
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YABNA RASOLEL-LAHI
Peace be upon You O Son of Messenger of Allah
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ
ASALAMO 'ALAIKA YABNA AMEEREL MOMININA
Peace be upon You O Son of Commander of The Faithful
عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ اَمَتِكَ
ABDOKA WABNO ABDIKA WABNO AMATEKA
I am Your slave and a son of your slave (my father was your slave) and son of your female slave (my mother was
your slave).
الْمُقِرُّ بِالرِّقِّ وَالتّارِكُ لِلْخِلافِ عَلَيْكُمْ
ALMOQERO BELREQY WAL TAREKO LEL-KHILAFI 'ALAIKOM
I am one who testify his slavery and neglect disobeying you
وَالْمُوالي لِوَلِيِّكُمْ وَالْمُعادي لِعَدُوِّكُمْ
WALMOWALI LI WALEYEKOM WAL MO'AADI LE 'ADOWEKOM
I am the friend of Your friends and the enemy of Your enemies
قَصَدَ حَرَمَكَ
QASADA HARAMAKA
and I have come to Your place.
وَاسْتَجارَ بِمَشْهَدِكَ
WASTAJARA BE MASH-HADAKA
I seek shelter in Your shrine
وَتَقَرَّبَ اِلَيْكَ بِقَصْدِكَ
WA TAQARABA ELAIKA BE QASDEKA
and request Your permission to enter for this is my greatest desire. Will You fulfill my greatest desire?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا رَسُولَ اللهِ
AADKHOLO YA RASOLAL LLAHI
May I enter O Messenger of Allah?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا نَبِيَّ اللهِ
AADKHOLO YA NABYAL LLAHI
May I enter O Prophet of Allah?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا اَميرَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ
AADKHOLO YA AMIRAL MOMINAN
May I enter O Commander of the Faithful?
أَاَدْخُلُ يا سَيِّدَ الْوَصِيّينَ
AADKHOLO YA SAYEDAL WASEYENA
May I enter O Master of Successors?
